Krishna Dela Paz is a creative director and brand strategist based in Dubai.For over a decade, I have worked in the UAE’s arts and culture sector, shaping brands, campaigns, and creative experiences that connect audiences with stories from around the world.
I currently serve as Head of Brand Communications at the Emirates Literature Foundation, where I lead the creative direction of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature and the Foundation’s wider initiatives. |
Over the years, I have led the Festival’s campaigns and brand evolutionincluding the global launch of the 2022 Emirates Airline Festival of Literature at Expo 2020 Dubai and the Festival’s brand refresh introduced in 2024, which continues to shape its visual identity today. I have also developed brand systems and creative initiatives across the Foundation’s programmes, spanning international festivals and literary platforms as well as educational initiatives and cultural campaigns. |

COMMUNITY
Alongside my institutional work, I co-founded TRIBE, a collective for Filipino creatives and communications practitioners in the UAE.Through TRIBE, I collaborate with artists, writers, and cultural institutions to develop exhibitions, workshops, performances, and multidisciplinary programmes that bring Filipino creativity into international and cross-cultural spaces.

EDUCATION
My academic background combines business, leadership, and cultural management. I graduated with a degree in Management from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines and spent part of my undergraduate studies at Audencia Business School in France through an international exchange programme focused on marketing.
My work in the cultural sector was further shaped through the British Council’s Gulf Festival Academy in Oman, a programme for cultural leaders and festival practitioners in the region. I later completed a Specialization in Leadership & Management from Harvard Business School Online, deepening my understanding of leadership and organizational strategy. |
Beyond my creative practice, I write and speak about creativity and the role of branding in shaping cultural experiences.I have delivered lectures and talks on branding and creative strategy at institutions including De La Salle University Manila and De Montfort University Dubai, and regularly reflect on creativity and cultural leadership through my writing. |
